President: Gavin Teo
gavinteo@wharton.upenn.eduGavin is pursuing his MBA at The Wharton School, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Prior to Wharton, Gavin was a management consultant with Bain & Company in the US and South Africa, where he worked with leading technology, healthcare, and consumer products firms. Gavin is considering a career in principal investing, leveraging his experience providing commercial due diligence for private equity funds and strategic buyers, as well as operational support for portfolio companies. In 2003, Gavin graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College, with a B.A. in Economics. Gavin’s family is involved in hospitality and IT-related ventures in Singapore. He is interested in issues of business diversification and strategic harvesting.
VP - Alumni: Jean-Marie Truelle
truelle@wharton.upenn.eduJean-Marie is pursuing an MBA at the Wharton School focusing on Finance. Prior to Wharton, Jean-Marie worked at Weinberg Capital Partners, a European private equity firm, for three years. Focusing on mid-cap transactions, he was involved in a numbers of LBOs including the buy-out of Pharma Omnium International and Team Partners Group. Prior to that, he started his career as an analyst in the Financial Sponsors group of Citigroup's division investment banking (London). Jean-Marie graduated from ESSEC Business School with a major in Finance. His family business is involved in the pharmaceutical industry based in France.
VP - Internal Affairs and Special Projects: Arthur Chamberlain
arthurch@wharton.upenn.eduArthur Chamberlain is studying for an MBA at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Strategy. Arthur graduated from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and spent five years as an officer in the British Army during which time he was stationed in Iraq, Northern Ireland and Germany. Arthur has worked for a private equity fund in Edinburgh and is involved in a family distilling business based in the north of Scotland.
VP - External Relations: Vaibhav Morarka
vmorarka@wharton.upenn.eduVaibhav is pursuing his MBA(WG'10) from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania with a major in Entrepreneurship, Real Estate and Operations. After gaining experience in the financial sector, Vaibhav returned to India and started his own IT company. His family businesses are involved in manufacturing heavy material handling equipment, aviation and property management in India. Two of the companies are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange: W.H Brady & Co and Brady Morris Engineering Co.
