Club Description

The Wharton Family Business Club is dedicated to promoting awareness
and dialogue among students interested in both domestic and international
family business. Furthermore, this club is aimed at working with, mentoring and partnering with individuals interested in starting family businesses, returning to work in a family business or consulting family businesses. The Wharton Family Business Club will provide a forum for students to explore family business issues and develop ties to major family-controlled enterprises. Family businesses are the dominant paradigm for business worldwide, and The Wharton School draws a large number of students from around the world who come from family business backgrounds. The Wharton School has made a substantial commitment to developing family business as a stand-alone field of study via the Wharton Global Family Alliance http://wgfa.wharton.upenn.edu
